gateAML is the general, cross-sector AML baseline check. While gateCTA, gateUKMLR, gateSwissAMLA and the other country gates each implement a single national AML law, gateAML unites the international AML standards in one gate that every transaction passes through, regardless of jurisdiction. It is the only gate in the system that uses live APIs instead of hardcoded lists for sanctions screening.
Every row is a hard boolean check, not probabilistic scoring. A critical failure leads to block, a high severity failure to warn, everything else to pass.
