gateCALaws — Seven categories, one Canadian law.
// IMMO.QUICK · GATECALAWS · KANADA

Seven categories, one Canadian law.

gateCALaws checks Canadian law across seven categories: PCMLTFA and FINTRAC for AML, SEMA for sanctions, PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25 for data protection, OSFI/CIRO/OSC for financial licensing, the 2023 Modern Slavery Act for ESG, the Investment Canada Act for FDI. North America, not Europe, despite the similar naming pattern.

Test result: PASS. Canada, all 7 sub gates passed, 328 milliseconds.
✓ RELEVANT IF...
  • You offer a financial service in Canada or need to demonstrably carry an Investment Canada Act review
× NOT RELEVANT IF...
  • You operate outside Canada, then the relevant country gate is the right choice
// Architecture

Seven categories.

Every row is a hard boolean check, not probabilistic scoring. A critical failure leads to block, a high severity failure to warn, everything else to pass.

HMAC-signed GateLog record
Every run writes an HMAC-signed GateLog record with identity binding (caller_did, caller_role) and a ten-year retention period. Deterministic: identical input produces identical output, no LLM, no external API.
// Clarification

What gateCALaws is not.

  • Not a substitute for OSFI authorisation. The gate seals the pre check, not the regulatory approval itself.

For institutions with Canadian business who want to run AML, sanctions, data protection, financial oversight, ESG and FDI as one gate.
