A cash report and a suspicion report answer two different questions.

The Cash Threshold Report at 24,999.99 ZAR is a pure amount-based filing, independent of suspicion. The STR reports suspicion, independent of amount. gateFIC checks both as standalone clusters that do not substitute for each other.

MLCO as the South African designation, with its own statutory anchoring
The Money Laundering Control Officer is the designation used in South Africa for the compliance officer. The gate checks the designation under this exact name, consistent with the FIC Act itself.
