gateAgriFoodCompliance — Food and Agricultural Compliance Gate
// IMMO.QUICK · GATEAGRIFOODCOMPLIANCE · EUDR · EFSA · HACCP · TRACES · EU RL 2024/1203 · § 30 OWIG N.F.

A batch isn't goods until it's checked.

gateAgriFoodCompliance forensically seals that a food or agricultural import has met four checkpoints, deforestation-freedom, chemical safety, cold-chain integrity, and origin authenticity, with a sealed proof per batch. Support for procurement and quality assurance, never a replacement for them.

In one sentence: gateAgriFoodCompliance checks an import batch deterministically against four sequential gates, EUDR, chemical safety, cold chain, authenticity, and seals the result with a cryptographic signature.
✓ RELEVANT IF...
  • You import or distribute food or agricultural commodities into the EU and need to demonstrate EUDR due diligence
  • You need to make cold-chain integrity and HACCP conformity forensically provable
× NOT RELEVANT IF...
  • You expect a system to perform a physical inspection or laboratory analysis itself
  • No import, batch check, or sustainability report is involved
// The problem

Four authorities, four systems, one batch.

Deforestation-freedom, residue limits, cold chain, and proof of origin are today usually checked separately and manually, often reconstructed only after the fact when an authority asks. gateAgriFoodCompliance brings all four checks together in a single, sealed run.

// Architecture

Four gates, sequential.

GATE 1
EUDR / Legality
Valid geo-polygon of the plot outside all forest classifications, cut-off date before 31 Dec 2020.
GATE 2
Chemical Safety
Checked against EFSA maximum residue levels, PFAS threshold, heavy metal limits.
GATE 3
Cold Chain / HACCP
Unbroken temperature control, HACCP protocol per Codex Alimentarius CAC/RCP 1-1969.
GATE 4
Authenticity
TRACES-NT entry for non-EU goods, valid organic certifier number under EU Organic Regulation 2018/848.
EUDR application date, correct and current
The EU Deforestation Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 has been postponed twice. Under Regulation (EU) 2025/2650, it applies to large and medium enterprises only from 30 December 2026, and to micro and small enterprises from 30 June 2027. The deforestation cut-off date itself, 31 December 2020, is unaffected by this postponement.
// Examples

Three fully fictional example decisions.

All companies, batches, and values on this page are invented and serve only to illustrate the gate logic.

Fully checked coffee batch
gateAgriFoodCompliance · Gate 1–4
A fictional importer submits a coffee batch, valid geo-polygon, cut-off before 2020, all residue values below threshold, unbroken cold chain, valid TRACES entry.
eudr_cutoff_date2018-03-01
cold_chain_breakfalse
AGRI_FOOD_SEALED
Complete, checked before acceptance. All four gates passed, receipt sealed.
Missing geo-polygon
gateAgriFoodCompliance · Gate 1
A fictional soy batch has no geo-polygon of the growing area on file.
geo_polygon_presentfalse
BLOCK_EUDR_POLYGON_MISSING
Fail-closed. Without a polygon, no clearance, regardless of all other gates.
Deviation documented, goods passed on
gateAgriFoodCompliance · Gate 3
A fictional egg delivery records a brief temperature excursion, all other gates pass.
cold_chain_breaktrue, minor
AGRI_FOOD_DELTA_FLAGGED
Documented, not automatically banned. The deviation is made visible, the decision on further use remains with the operator.
Update v1.1.0 — EU Directive 2024/1203 anchored
EU Environmental Crime Directive 2024/1203 and §30(2a) OWiG (new) are anchored as an algorithm-bound normative reference in gateAgriFood, rule-version-hash-bound in the algoSig and in the applied_norms field of every audit trail. The full SUB-GATE 5 mechanism with a T=0 execution lock lives in gateHeavyIndustry.
⚠ BILL — NOT YET IN FORCE
§30(2a) OWiG (new) is part of the government bill BT-Drs. 21/6133 implementing EU Directive 2024/1203, currently with the Bundestag committees, no entry-into-force date confirmed.

// Clarification

What gateAgriFoodCompliance is not.

  • Not a physical inspection or laboratory analysis. The gate checks submitted data and certificates, it does not replace official border control.
  • Not a guarantee of the material correctness of submitted data. A forged certificate that looks formally correct is checked formally, not forensically examined for authenticity.
  • No certification by EFSA, TRACES, or an organic control body. gateAgriFoodCompliance claims no official endorsement.

For importers and traders that want to make their batches provable.
